NCBI Description of PLXNA3

The protein encoded by this gene is a member of the plexin class of proteins. The encoded protein is a transmembrane protein that is exposed on the cell surface. This gene is thought to be involved in epithelial and neural tissue development. Sequence Note: The RefSeq transcript and protein were derived from transcript and genomic sequence to make the sequence consistent with the reference genome assembly. The extent of this RefSeq transcript is supported by transcript alignments.

• "Mouse over" a mutation to see details.
• Missense green saturation indicates evolutionary conservation of the mutated positions.
• Red hashes in protein strip are splice sites.
• Blue-white-red bars are log2 copy ratio distributions (–1 to +1) from Zack et al. (2013).
