NCBI Description of NMD3

Ribosomes are composed of 60S and 40S subunits that are assembled in the nucleolus and exported to the cytoplasm through nuclear pore complexes in the nuclear envelope. NMD3 is an adaptor for 60S subunit export via the CRM1 (XPO1; MIM 602559) pathway (Trotta et al., 2003 [PubMed 12773398]).[supplied by OMIM, Mar 2008]. Sequence Note: removed 4 bases from the 5' end that did not align to the reference genome assembly.

Figure notes

• "Mouse over" a mutation to see details.
• Missense green saturation indicates evolutionary conservation of the mutated positions.
• Red hashes in protein strip are splice sites.
• Blue-white-red bars are log2 copy ratio distributions (–1 to +1) from Zack et al. (2013).
