NCBI Description of CLEC6A

Like dectin-1 (CLEC7A; MIM 606264), CLEC6A, or dectin-2, is a type II membrane receptor with an extracellular C-type lectin-like domain fold. However, unlike dectin-1, dectin-2 lacks an immunoreceptor tyrosine-based activation motif (ITAM) in its cytoplasmic domain (Kanazawa et al., 2004 [PubMed 15175046]).[supplied by OMIM, Nov 2010].

• "Mouse over" a mutation to see details.
• Missense green saturation indicates evolutionary conservation of the mutated positions.
• Red hashes in protein strip are splice sites.
• Blue-white-red bars are log2 copy ratio distributions (–1 to +1) from Zack et al. (2013).
